Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) (Officials)

🏅 Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and TTA Officiating Accreditation

Table Tennis Australia Ltd (TTA) provides an opportunity for Officials to have their prior experience recognised to align with the appropriate level in the TTA Officiating Accreditation System.


👤 Who is this for?

  • Officials with previous officiating experience or qualifications from other organisations or countries.

  • Officials holding ITTF Officiating Accreditation wishing to transfer their credentials.

Note: Current TTA officials seeking re-accreditation should follow the standard re-accreditation process.


📄 Providing Evidence

Candidates need to submit evidence demonstrating:

  • Skills, knowledge, and experience

  • Relevant officiating qualifications

  • Records of officiating and training attendance


🌐 International Level Officials

Officials transferring internationally must provide an official letter from their previous association agreeing to transfer their qualification.


💲 RPL Assessment Fee

  • $275 (inc. GST) for State & National levels

  • $100 (inc. GST) for International level

Successful applicants have their fee cover accreditation and insurance for 3 years from assessment date.


🔄 RPL Process

  1. Complete and submit the RPL Application Form

  2. Pay invoice to begin assessment

  3. TTA verifies evidence and communicates outcome via email


📁 Submission Documentation

  • RPL application form

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • Qualification certificates, training records, officiating evidence, references

  • Letter from prior association (for international officials)
